Neuroblastoma Resources

  • Tom's Freds team site
  • Q&A about 3F8 antibodies
This is from MSKCC's own website. For information on HAMA, scroll down to the "What is HAMA?" question.
  • Alex's Lemonade Stands
Alex Scott died in the summer of 2004 of neuroblastoma, which she had been fighting since she was a baby. Her motto was "When life hands you lemons, make lemonade", and in that spirit, she started running lemonade stands to raise money for pediatric cancer research. Though she is gone, the lemonade stands continue, held across the country.
  • Children's Neuroblastoma Cancer Foundation
They sponsor the conference in Chicago. A wonderful organization
  • Lunch for Life - Saving children one lunch at a time
This is a fundraising effort for the Children's Neuroblastoma Cancer Foundation
  • Pediatric Cancer Foundation
I rode in a Bikeathon to raise money for these guys. Among many worthy projects, they have given money for Dr. Cheung's antibody research at Sloan-Kettering. Elias is directly benefiting from this research now.

OMG. OMG. Chicken pox. The last dose of VZIG. Leave it to Bonnie to find the last dose. The power of mailing lists. The power of the Internet which made mailing lists possible. I'd offer Elias some of my veins but mine are bad. I am glad he is off treatment. Wow!

Aunt Christine

Congratulations to all of you for getting through all those treatments. Hope the chicken pox stay away!
